About Us

The Wilmot Arms is owned privately by Steve Binch and Carlo Chiarella. Both Steve and Carlo, together with their friends, enjoyed the pub and the general atmosphere created and enjoyed by the locals. They were sad to see its demise and therefore, in the famous phrase “they liked it so much that they bought the pub”.

They were determined to restore the Wilmot to its former glory and after extensive refurbishment have turned this into the most favourite pub in Borrowash and the surrounding areas and has definitely become the in place. All roads lead to the Wilmot.

Its excellent beers, convivial atmosphere and home cooked dining have made this truly “THE PEOPLES PUB”.

We are open seven days a week and our licensing hours are:

Monday to Wednesday 12:30p.m.to 11:00p.m

Thursday only 12:30p.m.to 12:00 midnight

Friday and Saturday 12:00 Noon to 12:00 midnight

Sunday  12:00 Noon to 11:00 p.m.

Our Restaurant is opening hours are:

Monday to Thursday 12:30 to 9:30 p.m

Friday Saturday and Sunday 12:00 to 9:30. p.m.

Sunday Roasts are served Sunday 12:00 to 4.00 p.m

Lite Bites are available from opening time to 10:00p.m.

We have a superb function room available and can cater for your every event. Whether it be a Wedding Reception, Birthday Party (Adult and Childrens), Disco. Wakes etc. we can provide you with all of the catering and entertainment facilities
